She Said Yes

What a beautiful clear morning it was last Sunday when we took these engagement photos out on Bennett Valley Pd. at Matanzas Creek Winery It was 100 degrees last week and we wanted to get an early start at 10 AM. Lenny grew up out in Bennett Valley and when he was a kid they would race up to the top of the hill now where the winery stands. Bob and Lenny both grew up out there so they did a lot of reminiscing about those old high school days. Katie and Lenny will be getting married in August at St Eugene's church here in Santa Rosa. I'm looking forward to it, these guys are great!

Jaime and Sami Engaged!

"A jug of wine, a loaf of bread and thou". This is the saying I kept thinking of as I was looking at Jaime and Sami's photos, and as it turns out that quote comes from The Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam, who was an 11th Century Persian author and poet. What's sort of amazing is that these guys are from that part of the world, both Arab-Americans. They will be getting married this August at the Vintners Inn in Sonoma county, California. We're really looking forward to it because they will incorporate many of their Arab traditions into the day's celebration.
